Hapeville Depot, est. 1890

An 1890 train depot turned history museum, gallery and visitor center. Telling the story of aviation, railroad and automobile history as well as the early history of Georgia through the lens of Hapeville.

Mission Statement: The Hapeville Depot Museum preserves and interprets the grounds and building of Hapeville’s 1890 train depot. The depot is a symbol of the immense industrial influence in Hapeville and its impact on its people. The site inspires us to engage broad audiences through urgent storytelling, an immersive experience and innovative educational programs that are relevant today.

Vision Statement: The Depot Museum will be the leading historic source for education and scholarship that inspires cultural and environmental awareness of the history of Hapeville, GA.
